The company shares details of how to disable the Windows Desktop Search service for Outlook. The tool is a non-destructive read only tool that extracts the content from damaged Outlook data file, but doesn’t edit or cause damage to it and produces a healthy PST file in your Outlook profile. Microsoft describes the problem as follows: "After the upgrade to Windows 11, Outlook searches return no results. Recovery (safe to do): Remove the work account in Setting > Accounts > Access work or school, and then restore the work account. The affected identity should be a work or school account that you can see in Setting > Accounts > Access work or school.
